I made a AROBTTH with its b-sides at the end. The tracklisting went: Regular Album 1-11 12. I Bloom Blaum 13. I Ran Away 14. Murder 15. Animals 16. One I Love 17. 1.36 I would have included Crests of Waves but I ran out of room (damn 80 minute cds) and I like all the above b-sides better. It's a kick ass cd. I did the same thing with Parachutes and X&Y. Have y'all done anything like this, and if so do tell.

Okay in the Japan release of X&Y there's a bonus track... its either called "How You See The World" or "You're Gonna Get It Right"... according to Eil.com its "You're Gonna Get It Right". So which one is the correct title? Or are they two different songs?

I was watching CDUk this morning and the woman on it as in introduction for coldplay said 'and here's a band who think their new album could be ready as early as new year, here's coldplay with Fix You' Has anybody else heard any other rumors/ confirmation on this? I cant quite believe they'd produce a new album that quickly unless its very kinda acousticy and raw- unlike X&Y.

Peeps, the Speed Of Sound is beyond a marsterpiece but i just want to know in deatail the meaning the song or what Chris is singing about on that song (Is he trying to tell some girl that he is inlove with her or trying to get back with the girl or maybe something else?) Help me out.

I am a fan of both bands, and I have listened to both records repeatedly. I have found that I enjoy Don't Believe The Truth more than X&Y. I think that the songs on Don't Believe The Truth are better except for Mucky Fingers and Part of the Queue. How about you guys. P.S. - I'd rather have fans of both bands that have listened to both albums answer only please ;).

So I can't decide what album I like better so I will do a matchup of each song from each album. Square One vs. Politik The piano bridge at the end of Politik is one of Coldplays finest moments. Politk is a better opener live too. It has more jump to it. Square One has a cheesey opening to. Musically and Lyrically. Winner: Politik What If vs. In My Place The Scientist Part II, I mean What If, is a very good song. Lyrically it is beautiful. It just doesn't have the same emotional level or energy level as In My Place. This one is close but I have to give it to In My Place. Winner: In My Place White Shadows vs. God Put a Smile Upon Your Face God Put A Smile…

Don't get me wrong, it's a great album. But, one thing annoys me, a lot. That thing is the really ugly sounding guitar, in the second verse of The Hardest Part. It kicks in at about 01:49. It sounds too raw, too off and too darned ugly. It ruins a beautiful and groovey song. Good that it gets great again when it goes back to the chorus, but still. So, feel free to rant about things that annoys you about X&Y. :cool:

Does a version of "Speed of Sound" exist anywhere without copy protection? (The Japanese version doesn't count. ;) ) I'm in the USA and received a copy of the US version last week as a gift. I unwrapped it, but didn't try playing it until that evening, at which point I noticed the anti-copy logo on the cover. I rushed to my computer to try it and...no CD...just some Windoze files. (I don't use Windoze.) I was really, really pi**ed that the record company finally managed to sneak one of these into my collection. I decided to return it by any means necessary. These are some of coldplay's best songs in my opinion, they should have been on x&y. Not that x&y is a bad album, but it would have been much better with those songs, they could have replaced some of the more crappy songs on x&y. Right, to my question, did they ever record moses in a studio version? I can only find live versions, if someone has a studio version let me know :confused: .

Now, the song title is listed as Swallowed in the Sea. Having just bought the new album, I can tell you that not only is that song NOT Swallowed in the Sea, it isn't even on X&Y! Does anyone know what this song is? If you tell me, I'll send it to you!
