I really like the studio version of Gravity that the boys did.But i was wondering whats that sound in the background.I know their are some background synths in it.It plays throughout the whole song.But you can hear it clearly right before he starts to sing,"Baby,when your wheels stop turning"an during that part.Then you can hear it at the end of the song.Is it Johnny with some type of guitar sound?Its probably just another type of synth.Anyways i like the sound!

Just wondering what everyone thought about the originality of CP albums. Which one do you think broke the most ground musically?

Further to comments made by Chris Martin and his intention to make the fourth album darker, faster and heavier - would it not make sense to have Low as the fourth and final single? From a personal point of view I think Low is one of the best tracks on X&Y as it moves away from their traditional sound to something a little more daring and experimental. If you have the video to their live performance of the track when they played at Glastonbury 2005 you will see that they are really enjoying it, 'in their element' as some might say. Would LOW not serve as a platform to bridge the gap from X&Y to the 4th album? I think it would, and hope that they do release …

Well we all know what big fans they are of U2, and they seems to emulate their idols on songs (Hardest Part - REM, Talk - Kraftwerk, etc.), so what song resembles a U2 sound? I could hear Bono and Co. doing Square One easy.

Everything this man touches turns to gold, i.e. Beck, Radiohead, Travis, the new Macca album. I think X&Y suffered without the work of Ken Nelson. I hope either Nelson or Godrich works with Coldplay on their next album. Nelson is proven and Godrich would do wonders as well.

Hey..I was making a list of all my b-sides and I saw one was called "The World Turns Upside Down" but its not the one on the Fix You single and I cant make out the lyrics but he does say "your world turns upside down"...and "can you hear that sound?"...anyone know what this is? Are there 2 versions?? Help! I want to know what song I have!! Any help is appreciated...thanks!

I don't think anybody has heard the new b-sides from the Talk single yet, but maybe someone out there has and knows if its the full band version, or just Chris singing along with his piano?

Who's tired of that same synth used in most of the X&Y B-sides (most prominent at the end of World Turned?) I think it's completely unnecessary and the music would sound a lot better if they went with something more like the background of Clocks. Anyone else agree?

Hey, I recently been going to local radio stores to look for the singles of coldplay cause I had none--- I want to know if any of them are rare or are they really common around? Which song would you delete from X&Y to put Gravity there instead?? or maybe Sleeping sun?? i was thinking maybe twisted logic cause it's the only song on the record that i'm not really into but then again that would leave too many ballads on the album (what if, fix you, swallowed in the sea, a message, X&Y) so maybe i would exchange gravity for a message
