Mylo Xyloto (2011)

EMI Mexico, EMI Colombia and EMI Argentina confirmed that the leak is not the final version of Mylo Xyloto. https://www.facebook.com/coldplaymx?sk=wall The same happened with VLVODAAHF, if somone can remember that. They are saying that this is a promotional album, but the final version could have a lot of new (or maybe less) production.

Hey guys, i am wondering what will be the difference between the limited and normal edition of mylo xyloto? maybe the limited edition includes the real voice of chris and does not include wired autotunes!? :\

Its so,so sugary! Its like the sweetest syrupyest candy ever! They seriosuly need to ditch Eno and get a rawer sound.

Is it just me or is everyone facing the same problem? I have to play MX first and let it continue to HLH, else it is just a little abrupt ! I wonder if they will just release the both of them as a Single, else its gonna sound weird on the radio.

:thinking: When LP6 time comes around in the near future, I'm not doing this if I get the chance to. I just think I've heard most of the songs for months. It's identical. So now it's not really anything special.

is the symbol for UATW rotated - is that a subtle reference to Car Kids being a part of UATW or .... hmmm - hope there is a prospekt's march like ep for this album - i'm sure the other tracks are pretty good despite not making the final album.

So I searched the forum and I found that there wasn't a proper thread for Under 1 roof. I find that we're not giving this enough attention. The logo and the slogan is written not only on the website but on Chris's piano. To me Under 1 roof is either talking about how we all come together as coldplay fans under one roof through the listening experience of the album OR something that just came to me. Maybe it's the name of the tour. Think about it. We're all under 1 roof during the concert aren't we? Unless it's outdoors of course :P Under 1 roof tour anyone?

Which Artwork currently resides in your leaked iTunes version? I debated it and decided the Silver sleeve looked nicer sandwiched between other albums. which did you choose? :)

I think I would be enjoying this album more if I didn't know the majority of the songs. Anybody else feel that way? I'm most enjoying Don't Let It Break Your Heart and Up with the Birds, b/c they're fresh. The albums good, I just think I'd enjoy it more if I went into it fresh...I know that is mostly my fault.

As someone who isn't listening to the leak, the physical cd is kinda important. But the US release day is October 25th, should I be expecting the cd Monday (24th) or Tuesday (25th)?

I ve been wondering since every ERA of Coldplay has converts from people who hate or just ignored coldplay before then gets converted by an "ALBUM" era whether its from the singles or the whole album If you are new coldplay fans from the MX era just say it out LOUD and tell us the REASON why you were converted and if you plan to listen to other albums as well....

Well since we're all bored I thought I'd throw something out there. I wonder if MX will break the tradition of having a simple black disc. This is by far the most colourful artwork they've ever done so this would be the most logical time to break that tradition. What do you guys think?

First Leak, we'll call it "Bribery", had UWTB of 3:47 and MX of 43sec. Flac (288MB) has the same length-times of Bribery. The .m4a files from (i suppose) iTunes releases (call it iJapan) have UWTB of 3:45 and MX of 42 sec. So, are there actually some differences ("not final" version from emi mexico might be true in this case)? Or are them "rip"-dependant?

Okay we've hear the album now. We have mixed ideas about and so on....... But now i'm curious if there will be an EP or B-side album. And for some reason i like the B-Sides much of the times more then the tracks on the album itself.

I thought it might be cool on the release dates in our respective countries if we all changed our avatars, FB and Twitter and other social network pics and banners, and anything else we can to MX so there's this gradual build-up of it over a few days. Who knows? Maybe we could end up with thousands! It would be a great way for fellow Coldplay fans to meet too. Shall we light up the 'net? :D

Listening to it quite a few times, is it just me or it says first "you stole my star" and then "you stole my scar"? (And, btw, why there is no subsection about PoC and Paradise?)
