Mylo Xyloto (2011)

I'm not reviewing MM Paradise or ETIAW 1. MX: I prefer the live version honestly but this version will grow on me. Coldplay songs always do. 2. HLH: I love it even with the change in Chris's voice. I love the overall tempo of the song. 4. CB: This song is just epic! One of my favorites and so glad they kept it close to live version. 5. UATW: I was afraid they would ruin the studio version but I was impressed. 6. MMIX: Perfect opener for ETIAW... Really set the tone for that song 9. UFO: One of my favorite tracks... Love seeing some of their old style thrown in. 10. PoC: I'm iffy on the song. To me it's the worst song off the album by far. 11. UiF…

Just to direct attention away from the chaos of the other threads, where did the album leak from?

Most of the people on here are saying they think the studio versions are too produced/etc. Many are saying they prefer the live versions. Well that makes sense, because you have been listening to the live versions for what, 4 months now? You have created an emotional tie to the live versions. But the studio versions all existed first; the live versions are just operationalizations of the studio tracks. If you had heard the studios first, this conversation would not even exist. Okay, this thread is basically for people who like what they have heard so far. Although, there will be trolls that will probably appear. Why do you like MX so far? I feel that this may tie my favorite album (Viva). The issue I had with Viva was that it wasnt a comprehensive album...which is something I really like. Viva had some of the best overall quality music, but the record could have been arranged a little better. According to this website for a radio station in south america, they will be streaming a track from "Mylo Xyloto" every weekday morning, starting this coming Monday the 17th. Coming from Rte 24m, this was their tweet: "COLDPLAY new album exclusive - From next week a new track from 'Mylo Xyloto' will be played each weekday morning... I found a site that already posts a link to what it claims is a leak of the new album. The site had many comments from users who state they received valid leaks of other albums. If this is happening already, is it only a matter of time before a valid leak surfaces? p.s. I did not attempt the link for fear of viruses, but it seemed more legit than your average claim.

It's possible... What with Swedish House Mafia's version of ETIAW, the Fedde Le Grand version of Paradise, and connections with Jay-Z, it might be interesting. And who would we like to see remix what? For me, it would be Four Tet doing Up In Flames.

Is paradise about escaping reality? Going to sleep and being in a better place? A year ago I was a lot into lucid dreaming and stuff. What do you think every teardrop's a waterfall is about though? What does ETIAW even mean? Does it mean a teardrop is greater and more monumental than it really is?

went into amazon to order something from my basket and it was telling me that Mylo Xyloto is currently unavailable :stunned: when i clicked on the link there was a link on the page to a new listing which is available to pre-order :D phew!

is the Special Limited Edition of Mylo Xyloto only available in the U.S. or Canada? And also,what's the price of it? What about the CD version? The price? Thank you as it(mylo xyloto) means alot to me.
