Saw an advert on E4 last night. Was pretty cool. Anyone else see it? And am I the only one surprised at seeing an ad already? Album adverts usually don't come on until the day of release or a couple of days prior. They must really be pushing for massive sales this time around. i dont know if everybody is aware of this, but i think it is rather interesting. At first, I thought it was a tracktime, reading 75:08. silly me! One of the coldplayers not only pointed out to me that it was actually 7:5:08, he also insulted me, calling me greedy for apparently demanding more and more (?) :confused::veryangry2: Jonathanpeel:whip: Thankfully, a friendlier Coldplayer that wasn't angry about his head being dropped on the concrete sidewalk pointed out that it was actually a refrence to the date that Viva La Vida was first releaed on iTunes- 7th May, 2008. I don't understand why labels don't release a albums on the same day worldwide.. Sorry if this was already posted somewhere and I missed it.

i checked and didnt see this thread made yet so...What songs that fit in the MX era do you want to see? Or any other song in general when they play live? personally i would love to see: Lovers in Japan Talk Chinese Sleep Chant Life in Technicolor ii A Warning Sign The "heavier, rocker" stuff of Coldplay. What do you think?

I'm expecting a 7 out of 10. A good, very solid album. Not as good as VLV, AROBTTH or Parachutes from what we've been hearing, to me at least. But better than X&Y. Maybe an 8 in fact, depending on how the studio versions of those live tracks shape up and the quality of the songs we haven't heard yet. I wouldn't be surprised if this even gets a 9 from me. Then again, it could just as easily join X&Y and be a 6. It's very difficult for me to decide on what I think this album is gonna be like in terms of quality.

With M.M.I.X. and A Hopeful Transmission being instrumentals, I'll add them to the list because they're not really "songs" of the album to look forward to, as they effectively act as interludes. So with 11 out of 14 songs covered, this leaves us with: U.F.O. I'm a newer coldplayer... i joined june this year. was there this much negative reactions to the begginings of the other album(s)? or is this seriously the worst reception amongst coldplay fans for a new album ever? if someone could sincerly fill me in on what i could be missing from past releases, i would love to know. thanks

I've just been watching the coverage of Arsenal v Liverpool on Sky Sports and while they were showing some stats on screen, a recorded instrumental version of Charlie Brown was playing in the background. Just thought you'd be interested, not really anything major but it's out there.

I don't know about you guys, it seems like the boys have left out Lovers in Japan , one of the best live songs ,in my opinion ( along with the butterfly confetti...) for their MX shows. I hope they would somehow put it back on the set list.
