Hi everyone, I just have a quick question, I recently bought an x&y album as it was the last album I needed to complete my CD collection. However what struck me odd about this particular copy of the album was that the actual color of the cover was black as opposed to the common dark blue that we are all used to seeing when we think of x&y. In my opinion, most of Coldplay's B-Sides are there best work. I'm talking about these tracks, I Ran Away,Animals,Bloom Blaum, Moving To Mars, Carefull Where You Stand and more.... It's like the tracks where not to commercial enough to put on the excual albums. I also like the albums, there are good songs on it. But i think, the b-sides are the most artistic ones.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I am collecting all the singles (and if there are no singles released, then the promo's) of Coldplay. I have got almost every one, just missing a few (Atlas, Christmas Lights...) I have just bought a promo of Magic, but am doubting if it is a real one or a fake. Does anyone know how you can tell? First, I was expecting a card sleeve, like the promo's in the Viva La Vida and Mylo era. But this one is in a case. Also, it looks like anyone could have printed it themselves. Does anyone know what the promo is supposed to look like? Should it be a card sleeve? Thanks in advance!

I first listened to this on Spotify and was surprised that the beat was different, and the band actually had the first record for this song before Parachutes. Ever wondered how easy it is to create acetate cd-r's and sell them on e-bay? How will you know the difference if you don't have an original to compare a purchase? 1) First you need to purchase what seems to be a rare Coldplay promo. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230692377231 [/img] 2) Next you make a few copies but not too many and start selling them for a killing. The new 'Fix You' B-side "The World Turned Upside Down" prompted me to try to find the live version from a few years back and it turns out it's a completely different song.... It is called "The Wolrd Turns Upside Down" and Chris actually sings the title of the song in the lyrics....It was from the 2003 tour in the same batch of new songs(at the time) played out live - Moses, Ladder To The Sun, Proof, Poor Me, Gravity, WOrld Turns Upside Down.... Could the early version have somehow morphed into the Fix You B-Side??
