I'm not saying the song itself is top quality, but the ending is so damn epic. I almost wish they added this the setlist before fix you. What do you guys think?

So apparently alongside the release of Live 2012, came a 4-CD box set and a 4-album digital download set containing the first four studio albums, Parachutes, A Rush of Blood to the Head, X&Y and Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. Not sure if anybody has noticed this, or if there's already a thread about this, but it doesn't seem that Coldplay had announced the release of this box set, or that anybody had even noticed such a thing has come out in the past week. Hey all, Just out of curiosity, if you had to make a 'Best of Coldplay' album, what songs would you include? How would the tracklisting go etc and keep it at a size of around about ten songs. Mine would go something like this. 1. The Scientist 2. Yellow 3. Politik 4. Clocks 5. Fix You 6. Viva la Vida 7. Violet Hill 8. Life in Technicolor ii 9. Lovers in Japan 10. Charlie Brown Seems like I have a slight bias towards VLVADTHF haha.

Just something that always bothered me... on itunes, why is life is for living attached on the end enl, as opposed to being its own song? is there a reason?

This is my first post on the site, so first of all, hey :) Anyway, to my main point, I was wondering if there's been any suggestion of a Prospekt's March style EP for Mylo Xyloto (i.e. all the tracks that didn't make the album)? I've followed the messageboard for a while now and so often I see people talking about Car Kids in particular - have the band dropped any hints to a release or are people just wishing?

The song Politik is one of my absolute fave coldplay songs and I have been wondering this for quite some time. Does anyone know why the band decided to spell Politik with a "K"? That's not how it's normally spelt in English, is it? :kiss:

Honestly, as far as I can see, there are NO differences between the Tom Lord Alge Mix of What If (from the What If Single) and the original What If from X&Y. I loaded the two tracks up side-by-side in a sound editor program, and they looked precisely identical except for two things: 1. The quality seems to be a little bit crisper throughout the Mix compared to the original, and 2. The Mix fades out much slower than the original. Big image here: I'm just throwin' this out there, because it's something that's annoyed me for a while. Any thoughts?

Isn't it weird how in every album, the second single has been the most popular in the charts and in iTunes. Excepting AROBTTH, for the rest of the albums, the 2nd single has been the most popular, and the first has been the second most popular. AROBTTH has many popular songs, so Clocks and The Scientist are interchangeable. I'm going by the current US iTunes, so it might be different for other countries, but this appears to be the average response in charts.
