This has probably been posted before, and it is possibly now lost within the forum somewhere, but I really want to get some opinion here. What is the best song that Coldplay has ever done live? In my opinion, Daylight is one of the best. I can't believe they really don't play it live anymore. And as of this concert I've been to recently in July, my favorite song that they played was Violet Hill. There is just so much energy live!

Back in 2008-2010 I collected a lot of Coldplay CDs and I was going through these again and I found one wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper. I think I was going to send it to someone and never got around to it. In your opinion, what do you think the hardest/heaviest Coldplay song is? For me, it's God Put a Smile Upon Your Face. Especially live; it's the only time I've heard Johnny use vibrato.

Does anyone know how much is an original unplayed cassette of Ode To Deodorant is worth? I've seen the price of Safety EP shoot up and I imagine this cassette is more of a rarity? dj

So, someone just sent me this photo of acoustic EP. He said the EP has 4 songs+1 Yellow Music video Compared that to acoustic EP I have :dozey: on white balance Mine has "ACOUSTIC" writing and there're only 4 song, no Yellow video. I searched through discogs and wikipedia, both covers look like mine but discogs says there's only 4 songs but wiki says there 4songs+1video. My question is, is there an acoustic ep with no "ACOUSTIC" writing and with Yellow video? I already asked a guy who sent me this photo, he sold it a year ago. :(

I find record collecting fascinating, so naturally I'm wondering: what's the rarest Coldplay recording of them all? I have heard there is a White Shadows promo out there but I've never seen one.

Hey Guys!, I stumbled upon the Tom Lord Alge Mix of The Hardest Part (Well it's not really a remix, he just tweaked the song bit). Is it officially released? It's one of my favourite Coldplay songs and, in my opinion, one of X&Y's stand-out tracks. I know that X&Y is Coldplay's most maligned record but it has some really great songs on it and 'Low' is one of them :)

I don't know if there is a thread for this, but Coldplay has sooooo many unrealesed songs from their past era's. Do you think when they are close to retiring or already retired that they will release these songs as a compilation album. Sometimes I dream and my ears want to get high off the sounds I've never heard of that Coldplay has made. Please post any demos or any recording of these songs! Well, I have been getting a bit more into buying Coldplay related things from the past and recently I stumbled across "The Singles - 1999-2006". The problem is that I'm not quite sure if they're "legit", in the sense that it is a true Coldplay release and not some bootleg with terrible quality. I truly believe it is something Coldplay has released in the past but I just want to be sure before buying it. Also, how come there are two of them on Amazon? What makes the $250 one "limited edition" compared to the cheaper one? And are the singles CD (Speed Of Sound, Talk, etc) official releases as well? Sorry for being so paranoid :p. Thanks! It's the unreleased version that includes Ring Of Fire, Trouble and all the other songs that didn't make the cut on the televised version.
