I haven't been into a record store for a while and I don't know how recent this is, but I saw a Singapore press of Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends in the local HMV today which includes a DVD of all the music videos from Violet Hill till Strawberry Swing. Today a long list of earlier unreleased Coldplay songs apeared on the Wikipedia page for Coldplay song, a lot I'd heard of, some not. One was The Blue Room, is there any recording of that (he desperatley asks). If not, how do we know about it?

do you think that coldplay will release a greatest hits album for 2000-2010? I thought of this because was just thinking (because I'm also a U2 fan) that U2 has made Greatest Hits for each decade, do you think Coldplay would do the same?

Hey all, I was wondering where I could find the Lost! and Lovers in japan Cds. There's none on eBay. I'm getting Viva La Vida and Violet hill singles, and maybe Litii. Any advice on finding any?

Is it just me, or do all of Coldplays songs have extra instruments, I know in don't panic there are 2 rhythm guitars (Jonny plays chords with a wah, but an electric and acoustic rhythm). What songs are not like this. Also, which ones have no extra guitars, and no string part? I'm not criticizing them, but I am just curious.

I think this song is basically about Martin's (or someone elses) quest for knowing the afterlife. What will the afterlife be like for him? When listening to the song you get a very vivid image of Victorian London ( you know, Oliver Twist London). The use of ghosts as the subject is a particularly clever idea by Chris Martin. The line that interests me most in the 1st verse is that of "Through the dark streets they go searching". Now we know he's describing ghosts here in the dark deserted night of a Victorian London but what are they searching for. The second line "To see God in their own way".
