I live in CT, so Violet Hill will be playing at or around 5 am for me. My question is: Is it worth it to get up at that time to hear it and be tired all day, or get an extra hour of sleep and download it as soon as I get home? Also: Is it guaranteed theyll play it at that time? Cuz if they wait too long, I'll have to go to school anyway and I would waste that hour of sleep.

Sorry if this is a duplicate thread...I saw a guess the lyrics thread but this is slightly different. First poster types a line of lyrics (e.g. Soldiers, you've got to soldier on) Next poster types the next line from the same song (ergo Sometimes even the right is wrong) and give another line of lyrics to be completed. Will said he was learning to play the accordion.It think that's pretty cool.The Arcade Fire use it quite a lot in their song.Wonder if Coldplay's gonna use it!

I really love the ending from Politik, the passion Chris puts in the song, Jonny's guitar and Will going crazy, one word: ART, it's really my favorite, although the ending of GPASUYF(2003) is also great and DAAHF and Fix You. What do you all think?

I hope this is the right place to post this... So I got The Singles collection last week and just tonight I accidentally knocked over my turntable which unfortunately had the The Scientist vinyl in it. When I picked my turntable up, the vinyl was caught between the body of the turntable and the dust cover. Now there's a rather big scratch in my vinyl.. I was wondering if anyone had an individual The Scientist vinyl up for sale..? It's my favorite song too. :cry:

I haven't listened to it in months and i just listened to the song again today and wow... it's just so heart-warming and sent chills all over my body, i get addicted to it again lol. Honestly, i think it's quite underrated, i feel it's another timeless song by Coldplay and needs more recognition. Kinda pointless thread, i know, but i can't be the only one who feels like this, right? :D

Have a question for my fellow collectors. Last month I took a chance, and purchased a pro VLV vinyl on description only from a well reviewed UK record shop. Just got it in the mail today. The 12" sleeve looks just like the CD pro sleeve (cream colored w/titles centered). 12" has the full record; both sides state "promotional use only." LC0299/50999 217831 11/ VIVA001. It's not an acetate, just a vinyl promo. Looking for any other info on this if you have it, #made, release areas, general price point, etc... Thanks in advance for any info!!!

Well, it is said that Wedding Bells means a split for Chris and Gwyneth, but I don't think that Chris could want to tell that with that song, maybe it was something that happened to him once, or it just came to his head, but well Here is the meaning for me: Those wedding bells are ringing up upon that hill And I don't wanna swallow such a bitter pill You keep on moving but I stay still I always loved you and I always will In this part, the person he loved is getting married, as simple as that, but he's down the hill, below it, and he can't be there and he doesn't want to believe it, or in this case, he can't stand that idea, and of course that is something bitter…
