Okay, so now that we have seen a good quality version of Paradise live, what is everyones opinion? I personally thought it was a good song once I heard it, but I feel like seeing it live, it just comes across much better. I'd like to get everyones opinion that has seen the ACL stream, as I know there was a lot of division over the song this past week.

Hello peoples :P After listening to the ACL Premier of Paradise live, I've always loved that guitar riff near the end. Since it sounded awesome looped I decided to make a ringtone of it! The link is here: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55156&page=3 Depending on your phone you might need to find a video on youtube since they work differently , but i'll make a tutorial today after school :D

The day that Paradise was coming out I set my alarm for 2:50 am (im on east coast) so that I could listen to the first playing of the song on BBC 1. I started listen and I thought cool intro.. then I thought.. uh oh this beat.. ill hold on.. first verse ehhhh.. and then after the para para I just straight up turned it off, frustrated. Then of course the next day I listened to it a million times and every time I listened I liked something new.. cool melody, the OH oh oh OHOH oh oh oh part was fun to sing a long to, even the para para paradise became fun. Now, I like the song pretty well (still not my favorite of course) but I think its pretty good. My only gripe is that br…

Listening to Paradise, I'm waiting to hear that cringe-inducing yelp of Timbaland in the background.... I have been a fan ever since I saw them perform "Yellow" on TV ages ago. I can recall thinking, "Who is this?" and started to become a fan of theirs after that point... It wasn't really until A Rush of Blood to the Head came out though, and I listened to the album and instantly said, "WOW" to myself. It completely blew me away. After that point I fell head over heels in love with Coldplay. I honestly think AROBTTH is one of the greatest rock albums of all time, and it made me fall in love with Parachutes so much more. I remember that summer very fondly, finally …

When she was just a girl She expected the world But it flew away from her reach So she ran away in her sleep And dreamed of para- para- paradise Para- para- paradise Para- para- paradise Every time she closed her eyes When she was just a girl She expected the world But it flew away from her reach And the bullets catch in her teeth Life goes on, gets so heavy The wheel breaks the butterfly Every tear a waterfall In the night, the stormy night, she'd close her eyes In the night, the stormy night, away she flies And dreams of para- para- paradise Para- para- paradise Para- para- paradise Ohoohoooh She dreams of para- para- paradise Para- para- p…

Paradise is the most stupid and I feel like Martin has ceased to write the beautiful lyrical poetry. :embarrassed: I would like to have asked some questions to Martin about why he has changed so much and where he has taken the Coldplay band. If this Brian Eno, that which in control of cold game after this why does make it do not try to make cold sound of game better and good as they did use in order to sound? I fell in love they most of all when Martin it forced it will outside strike as repairing you and hurry of the blood to the head. Now he writes silly songs about the paradise, when he must be the songs of writing about the sadder places as scientific worker. I…

There's a really great piano melody hidden in the background of Parasite.Listen to the bit at the end. Its completely ruined by Enos production and Martins insistance on turning mainstream pop.

Ah Coldplay fans! Yeah fuck those idiots! Anyone who doesn't 100% LOVE this wants Coldplay's new album to be like Yellow played on loop for 50mins. Well said! St00pid peoples should go listen to Rihanna and Justin Timberlake and New Kids on the Block LOL Um. It's like when Metallica cut their hair or Dylan going electric  NEVER HAS SUCH BEAUTY BROUGHT SUCH F*KKIN RAEEEG :bomb: I think this is my favourite. Hotplay?! Wat?!

I no longer hear the distinction of each member and their greatness... If you listen to Parachutes, each member has something to offer. Jonny with his unique riffs in it's simplest form.. I don't hear Jonny in this song... only at the end... He gets a brief solo... Have they hired davide rossi and kicked out Jonny? What's with all the strings?? They compliment a song sure... but I want to hear coldplay.. All 4 members.. Why are they hiring others to contribute to their music? They have created their best work before. And what's with Rihanna featuring in POE??? 2 versions fine but not the album version! I can't accept hearing a Coldplay album and Rihanna being in it.

I didn't exactly like ETIAW (or MM) until I got the single and heard iy without the rattle of the computer and now I absolutely LOVE them. Hoping this will be the same with Paradise. I like it, but there's something missing and I really wanna hear a clear version.

I found this article, quoting quite a few early press reviews. Surprisingly positive, more than I expected. http://m.idolator.com/pl/6008082/review-revue-coldplay-paradise Any other reviews you found?

Since we now know Hype Williams is directing and that one model (who, I'm sorry, I don't find attractive one bit) will be in it What do you think the video concept is going to be? Haven't been a fan of Hype Williams' direction for the other Coldplay videos...

In the leaked version we heard last night they were there. Weren't they? Did I do something weird to my speakers? I can't hear them now. I haven't bought this song yet but on the iTunes preview for this song I can hear them... Why aren't they in the Youtube version? O_O?

"Life goes on it gets so heavy." One of the best lines in Back to the Future is, "that's heavy", and Marty has to explain this phrase to 1955-Doc Brown. So perhaps, this album is about an outsider/alien from the future who speaks a different language that looks like ours but doesn't make sense to us. And this alien is here to explain to us what things like "that's heavy" or "Mylo Xyloto" or "M.M.I.X." mean, or shouldn't mean. /random thoughts at 3 AM.

Ok, I've never written on here but today I've read some ridiculous responses to the release of Paradise. To say that Coldplay are taking a 'new direction' (pop) based on 2 songs is a bit wide of the mark. Yes, ETIAW and Paradise are a new, different sound, but people have been quick to forget all the great songs played at the festivals; CB, HLH and to a lesser extent MM are great songs, and a development from the Viva era. I think they'll make CB the lead single of the album, and in my view it represents what MX is about, along with HLH. UATW sounds more like classic Coldplay, and I'm sure other songs on the album will be similar. I know it's become a bit cliche, …

It hit me after hearing the reviews on the radio. THIS IS WHY CHARLIE BROWN WASN'T RELEASED FIRST. Coldplay have deliberately created this single and marketed it first in an undoubtedly deliberate attempt to capture new audiences, as traditional fans would have already heard the new songs via live shows and webcasts (and hence would buy the album regardless). Brilliant idea. So to have established colplay fans being a little surprised by it and feeling a little underwhelmed was all part of the risk :) The universe makes sense.

Some scattershot opinions that didn't seem to fit in anywhere else: When I read the Bilboard interview that Move to Mars was unlikely to make the album, I was crushed. When I saw the tracklisting and saw for sure that it didn't make the cut, I collapsed completely. What made Move to Mars so damned compelling was how atmospheric it was--it sounded like Chris had crawled over to a piano in a drunken state of depression and banged this out in one take. It sounded like a man on his last whim, barely concious enough to understand what he himself was saying. It was different, haunting, yet climactic; the ugly, drunken cousin of Fix You. In the midst of poppy, melody-driven s…
