Hello to all members, I just listened to the new Coldplay songs, and my impression is that they have started getting transformed into...a second U2 band!!!!! I really "missed" their older style!!! What is your opinion??

Maybe it's already been answered, but just wondering if anyone knows why there are 2 versions of "Death and All His Friends" floating around on youtube. One doesn't have the joint chant at the end. I hope they included that on the final cut. Thanks.

Anyone got any ideas? It would be nice if they actually released this one as a single, with proper B-Sides and all. They have plenty of b-sides to choose from going by the number of tracks proposed in the threads and news.

ok so i'm at a loss. I've heard (and listened to) about the VlV album being realease on myspace as listen-only. Though i hear alot on coldplaying.com of a so-called leaked album of VlV. Is this the same thing ppl are talking about? Thanks, Pat

What can i say, i had the fear it would became an album with too much "new" sound but it's great, just like i had with x&y, it needs to grow on you. 2 bad i can't share it on these forums. Good luck with finding it, i suggest u look for torrent sites bye bye !

I have been listening to this band as a fan since 2004 and was there when AROBTTH was picking up steam, so I feel I have a good handle on the context in which this album was released. I'll be blunt; I hated X&Y. Hated it. It felt drab, watered-down, and overcooked; a completely failed record in every respect. Just 2 hours ago i met someone on slsk who had 7 tracks of the new album Viva La Vida i really didnt wanted to download them cause i pre ordered my copy of the album and didn't wanted to spoil anything before 13 june, Now i find my in a sad situation that i just did spoil it for myself and the outcome is sad Its like Chris went to a library and picked up the first book about Civil War and wrote some songs from all the storys he read. all the 7 songs are so unpersonal and cold , only Lost! and Violet hill are pretty good. i just dont think anyone will spott you getting emotional when hearing them i dont see anyone being touched by any of these tracks at all. …

I was looking to find the Live 2003 Coldplay concert on DVD and i know whats already on the original release but then i noticed that theres a huge load of new things on one of the Live 2003 DVD. Has there been a re-release with extra content on it or is it a mistake ? So I live in the Czech republic and my birthday is a day after the release in the UK. I would love to get the new album on my birthday, but I'm worried this CZ country is just years behind the apes, and I don't know if the album is gonna be available here on the 13th. Any ideas guys?
