i think coldplay has been making poor videos of late....its not a big deal but viva la vida would have been awesome if they stuck with the apple format or at least made as big as the violet hill video

Guess what I found today at Best Buy here in Texas where I live and that is an Coldplay EP called Brothers & Sisters released on Fierce Panda records which features the first recordings from the guys from 1998 and was released in March 1999. The songs on the EP are as follows: Brothers & Sisters Easy To Please Only Superstition I found this today as I was checking for another record that I wanted and I stumbled on this and the price was right too $4.99 to be exact. Chris sounds great on all the songs especially on Brothers & Sisters with Will and Guy singing harmonies on the song with Chris. How many of you all have this EP?

just re-read the post on coldplay.com, and it says that the new e.p. will contain 8 new songs and not five..the tracklisting reads like this: 1) Life In Technicolor ii 2) Postcard From Far Away 3) Glass of Water 4) Rainy Day 5) Prospekt's March/Poppyfields 6) Lost + 7) Lovers In Japan (Osaka Sun Mix) 8) Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground also says you can download the e.p, or get a new version of the viva album plus the e.p. songs on one album.

the reason i ask is because well thats how i judge how good an album is parachutes and AROBTTH give me the chills most of the albums at least while XY only one song does that. and viva la vida not one song =[ while i love most of the album i dont get that WOOO!! feeling i mean viva la vida the song is amazing and a classic with the churchbells and violin great melody but its not like other great cp songs! i miss the parachutes era mostly and A RUSh of blood too?

Ever since news of this new album, it seems coldplay have become obsessed with this number. - a track they named, which is supposedly their favourite, is '42' - they included the number on their charity plate - if there ARE nine tracks on Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends, the total number of tracks included on the four albums will be 42. (Parachutes: 10; AROBTTH: 11; X&Y: 12 (excluding Til Kingdom Come); VLVODAAHF: 9) Anyone else notice it? Or come across any other uses of the number?

This is my official favorite Coldplay song, in my opinion it's the perfect example of Chris's voice adapting to the song. And that explaination of the song Chris gave saying it's just about 'acting on impulse', I think there's more to the song and it's about something more specific.
