Is when Will and Chris sing together in 'Us Against The World' The way their two voices go together is beautiful. I hope the band use these two together again in the future!

Not sure if anybody in Aus heard this, but Chris and Jonny are going to be doing an interview on The 7PM Project on Friday October 28th for Channel Ten. It's a pre-recorded interview (that's never been aired before) with Andrew Gunsberg. I'll be going to the filming in Melbourne, not that they will be any live stuff... But hey, if I can go I sure as heck will :D I'll also be recording it, in case nobody else does :P

I know I do. It'd be okay if I had just one or two.....but I have to say, I ALWAYS prefer live versions and it gave me unrealistic expectations over the studio versions. I love MX as a whole, but there are so many things from live shows that I was hoping to hear...the only one I wasn't "disappointed" by was MX/HLH and the new tracks that we hadn't heard. It's no secret, Pitchfork doesn't like Coldplay. Sure they will post all their news and review their albums, but they definitely make more than a few jokes at their expense. Now the other side of the coin here is that as pretentious as Pitchfork are, they have a pretty big audience and are pretty influential, especially when with the mainstream indie crowd. So what will they score the album? I feel like they could put out a masterpiece and it will still get a shit rating. You can vote and also write down your exact prediction. Maybe it sounds cheesy as hell but are there any songs on the new Album where you had to shed a few tears by listening to it(first or now) ? I got them(and still have) while hearing the guitar and bass coming together in Us against the world and during the Dont let it break your heart. Why ? Those moments totally remind me why i love them so much, no matter what anybodies saying !!!! So,what about you ? :)

I was just wondering if anyone knew how long it typically takes for Coldplay to release the B-sides to an album. To a lesser extent, I was wondering if it's safe to even assume we'd be getting a B-side for MX.

First of all... it's great to be back! I stepped away from Coldplaying for a couple of weeks to avoid any spoilers since I knew a leak was inevitable. But now, I can tell my Mylo Xyloto release night story: The evening of the 23rd, my friend Jonathan (who loves Coldplay just as much as I do) drove over an hour to get up here, and we had planned to go to Wal-Mart (virtually right across the street) at midnight since it would be the only place to buy Mylo Xyloto that would be open when the calendar officially hit the 24th. When ETIAW was released, i thought everyone was shocked by the direction Coldplay was taking with their new album. So naturally, not everyone really liked that song. Now that MX is released and we have the pleasure of listening to the whole album, i think ETIAW makes a lot of scene. After Listening to it many times, ive grown to enjoy it, and its one of my favorites from the album. On the other hand, Major Minus was a song that ive loved since the EP. Now im not too crazy about it. In fact, i usually skip over it when listening to MX. Has anyone else experienced this from any songs?

I say no, but if we do I think it will be PoC w/o Rihanna just so they can play it in concert and/or see if people like it as much.

... is there any difference between the officially released version and the version that was leaked a few days ago? I actually haven't heard the leaked version. Is there any difference in the mix for example?

I have a sneaky feeling they will release a 41 minute add on to Mylo Xyloto around the summer stadium shows, as in July they said Mylo Xyloto currently is 85 minutes long, and if anyone remembers they released an add onto Viva La Vida, so I personally reckon the same may well happen.

I dont have MX yet plan to buy it next month, reviews so far are not good from critics theyve been lukewarm about the effort and i dont know what to say about the album anymore frankly im dissapointed based on the reviews... Theyve got the lowest score on metacritic 59/100 its so low and the lowest of their catalogue frankly its mediocre.... i dont know if the reviews havent been fully updated yet but I hope it rises if not i dont know if I should even buy the album anymore..... anywho.. maybe i will still buy it despite reviews... but im still dissapointed
