Mylo Xyloto (2011)

we allready have Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall and soon Paradise as singles from MX. And i think we get Charlie Brown as a single on the same day as Mylo Xyloto. reasons for that what i think - Charlie Brown on Radio as background and Charlie Brown on a TV advert - The band had to choose between Paradise or Charlie Brown as the second single from MX, but they chose Paradise as first. - Viva La Vida was also released on the same day as Viva La Vida or Death and all his Friends

When Mylo Xyloto was still in it's recording phase early on, Tim Wheeler apparently assisted in the album as said by Roadie #42. Now, I'm not a big Ash fan or a Tim Wheeler fan but also The Pierces said they would be featured on a song. This seems very weird to me. I don't want any of them to be on the album cause I don't think Coldplay need any help. What are your thoughts?

I found these lyrics online when I typed in Mylo Xyloto. These sound Coldplay-ish but I'm not sure. What do you guys think? As you're well aware, the fuzzy man is a new icon of the MX era. Well, my band Circuit Chase came up with our own running man about a year ago! I was on billboard looking at some of the upcoming releases and I noticed that Drake will release his next album(which is highly anticipated in the hip hop community) on Oct 24th. My question is do you think Drake will be a threat to Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto being number 1 in the US? I for one dont really care for Drake and think he's one dimentional.But hes well liked among the hip hip community.I beleive Coldplay will outsell him but know he is a fomidable opponent.Some numbers based on last album sales. Coldplay sold 720,000 copies in its first week in the US and Drake's album sold 447,000 in its first week of US sales.Maybe I just answered my own question.

Just was browsing youtube and stumbled upon this youtube video made about a year ago - very insider look at recording process of Coldplay's album - Well they are using xylophones for sure and perhaps part of the title having xylo in it (or not) - anyway, check out the piano behind chris, is that an early incarnation of the current one used for the festival - also remember them asking someone to build them a solar system or something space related to inspire them during the recording of the album. I've heard a bunch of people say that they don't like Eno and that they miss the old Coldply. Personally, I think Eno has greatly improved Coldplay. I prefer VIVA and MX(so far) over 'chutes, AROBTTH, and X&Y What do you guys think?

While searching HMV's online store for Coldplay products I realised they where taking pre orders for LP5 with a release date attached. The date attached states: 24/10/2011 I cant see HMV randomly making up this date and it seems to fit all rumoured reports of the albums release. after the A Rush Of Blood Tour, there appeared a live DVD, Live 2003. After the Twisted Logic Tour we should get a Toronto 2006 DVD, but it was deleted. Of the Viva La Vida Tour, we only summarized a CD, Do we get finally a DVD of the MX Tour?
