Mylo Xyloto (2011)

Hey, so I had nothing to do today and made some wallpapers with screenshots from the video, here they are :)

They don't come back to tour until April, and they just did the Charlie Brown music video. And they also have other smaller things coming up like the Grammys, ect. So what are they doing exactly with all this time? Are they working on new music? Maybe an EP?

I just read the interview with the guy who invented the Xylobands and I got to thinking about all the stuff they could do with them. Anyone got any cool ideas? I personally think it would be awesome if when one was wearing a xyloband (away from a concert) and met someone else wearing one it would light up. I think that'd be something "global" like they talked about in the interview.

Is this a reference to Oasis' Falling Down song? the first line of the chorus is "catch the wheel that breaks the butterfly."

Coldplay were filming their new video for Charlie Brown in a church down my road, got to meet Chris Martin and got a tour of the set :)

so you've seen probably their update on fb ....it still looks like a live version of the clip no photos of churches any far ,hope that guy that made a thread that cb is being filmed near his house didn't lie or he'll look not so good in front of the coldplayers! :D

Lol. Also, Coldplay recently tweeted about this guy, and his Twitter comes up with a link to http://www.xylobands.com. There's nothing there yet, but soon...?

So...lets just say we learn more from our mistakes than from our success's. To pass the time until that new music video, we should all sing to the album in order. First off Mylo..no lyrics thats easy. Next HLH, then Paradise, etc. Shall we start? Written

The singer and pianist said the record's content touches on "love, addiction, OCD, escape and working for someone you don't like." - Jan 2011 When i star thinking about Coldplay, i think of the craziest things and start linking them together lol. Chris has stated his personal problem with perscription sleeping pills. And he was quoted about the album have a theme of addiction. The two symbols do resemble each other.

So I don't know where the right place to post this sort of stuff is, but you can never go wrong here! Unless I'm wrong. Anyways, tell me what you think. I painted it today with acrylic; took about 6 hours total. The canvas is 4ft x 2ft.

I have a subscription to Rhapsody so I can download and hear all kinds of music, and was looking forward to hearing MX this morning upon its release. However, I log in and see that the album is "For Purchase Only." All the other new releases from other bands are always available for download, but for some reason MX isn't given that status. Thanks for nothing Rhapsody....:P

And even by some Coldplay fans. Its not that bad is it? I actually like it. I listened to it after i read some of the bad reviews about it and wondered what everyone was moaning about. It has some absolute quality songs on the whole album, like charlie Brown, Us against the world, Up in flames etc. Obviously its no viva la vida but nothing wouldve beaten that album. Why is it being slammed? Why are fans turning against them? Will coldplay lose out due to this?

Rihanna announced half an hour ago, she will share the stage with Coldplay at the Grammys this year via Twitter. YOU ANXIOUS?!

Why Charlie Brown? Coldplaying tweeted the Hurts Like Heaven art but they haven't for any other song. The photos of the video Coldplay are making are all graffiti themed. Hurts Like Heaven is all about graffiti and people rebelling and there are people in the video dancing an all I can think is HLH. It's a great song and I can see it being single worthy. Thoughts?!?!

We all know there's a huge poster of the full MX Wall in the Pop-Up Edition. So, does anyone have scans of that poster? Because 1402x500 is never going to completely satisfy anyone!

Now that we've all got to carefully listen to MX, it's time to rank the last songs on each album! It's important to keep in mind that it's not just about how good the songs are by themselves, but rather how well they close the album. I have to say that, in my opinion, all of the album closers till now have been absolutely epic. Coldplay is really good at choosing them. But well, enough of chatter.
