Mylo Xyloto (2011)

Which album do you prefer? All the aspects: artwork, clothing, concerts etc. Viva la Vida's music was a lot better in my opinion, but I prefer the artwork and instruments in this era. Bit too early to judge on the concerts. (sorry if there's a thread just like this)

hey guys! just recently discovered this great site for coldplay fans! So I have been trying to find separate artwork for each of the Mylo Xyloto songs. I know they are all connected in the MX graffitti, but would someone please separate them for me? ^_^ much appreciated

Anyone know who makes it and what model it is? Or is it a custom jacket the band has made?

Some bits in the 2011 animated feature 'Mars Needs Moms' remind me of MX. Am I seeing things the wrong way or am I on to something? I want to know what you think. The movie's striking relation to MX: 1.) The main character's name is Milo. 2.) 'Set' in Mars, the aliens look a tad like 'Mylo' in the Mylo Xyloto comic book. Hi people! So, I just went and wrote this for no reason at all. Going from the idea that Mylo Xyloto's a concept album, I present: Mylo Xyloto by Coldplay- An Interpretation. I see the album as being a love story between two people, named Mylo and Xyloto (although I believe it’s intended to be about a character named Mylo Xyloto, but this is just my interpretation). Mylo is the girl and Xyloto is the boy, going on the sound of their names (neither one is feminine, but Xyloto is notably less so). What do you think,will there be an EP following Mylo Xyloto? What else should they do with their unreleased new material? Will they record more songs,which they had ideas for? Personally,i think there will be an EP with songs like "Tomorrow","Great Expectations" or others songs that have already been registered. But on the other hand in think it could also be possible that they release it as B-sides of following singles or as free downloads. This is something that's been on my mind for the whole MX-era. I think Guy's quite noticeably at the back whilst Chris, Jonny and Will are at the forefront of "Coldplay". I can't say I can remember an interview which included him in this era (at least not a significant amount of interviews compared to those including the others), and whilst this album's brought Jonny to a new level, it hasn't really done anything for Guy. I get the feeling he's being slightly left behind by the others, and that perhaps there's not the same on stage love-for-each-other as a band as there was in the VLV era. So when listening to the album, it's pretty obvious AHT is a reprise of MX. Then I listened to UFO more and realized it too used MX. Then I recently realized Major Minus uses it too. Am I going crazy, or is it really used this often? And can anyone else hear MX in other songs?

A friend of mine who is a HUGE Styx fan and also a Coldplay fan brought this to my attention. While the Two stories are not identical, and the motives of the 'bad guys' are different, there are some remarkable similarities between MX and a Styx concept album that was released more than 30 years ago. I know this doesn't relate specifically to the album, but hear me out! :D I painted my nails like this a while back to celebrate the release of MX - I think right after their SNL performance. I had been planning to do it for a while. I was watching an interview with Chris of 2008 I think.. And I saw This image it has a drawing of don Quixote before they playes the song in Argentina and above it it says christmas lights.. But the cool part is that at the right we can see names such as "Alien Radio" and that is written in jonnys guitar. Any clues of what the other words say?

Guys, I might be a little late here, but have you seen this? http://coldplay.com/newsdetail.php?id=1012 Apparently, they need live footages from UATW and SOS, but this is kind of intriguing. It's obviously something related to the Coldplayfilm, but what could it be? Phones and semi-professional cameras don't have enough video quality to be used in a film like that... or do they?
