Mylo Xyloto (2011)

Hello everyone! I recently converted some old Chuck Taylors into Coldplay concert shoes. I'm attending in August and I was feeling creative! They were plain grey sneakers with "parchment" colored rubber. I cleaned them, splattered them with acrylic paints, and hand painted the motifs and logos. They're not great, but I do like them a lot and I'll be wearing them all summer...and to the August 3rd concert of course!

Hey Guys, Now that we know that also the 5th Single of comes with no B-Sides i´m really wondering whats the reason for it. So,for me there can only be three reasons: 1. Chris,Jonny,Will and Guy decided that the other recorded songs dont fit the Era as good as the songs from the Album do,although they have been recorded with them. 2. There is something special coming up,maybe the DVD TOGETHER with some new songs,just like a Collectors Box. 3. The other recorded songs will never be released,just as simple as it is. For me guys, I just can't listen to MX the same at all. Whenever I listen to it now I'm thinking of Silencia and all the world that the comic book unveiled. Tbh, I almost feel as if it's separate from the other albums, in terms of general feel. I mean it feels like Coldplay, but knowing that it's a soundtrack just changed the way I listen to it. It's not a bad thing, it's just... different I guess. I still like it. Did anyone else get such a dramatic change?

To think that this era started with a simple video of a walking man with many colors in silence! Now knowing this story takes place in some world called something like Silenceia, makes you wonder if that is linked in anyway? What do you think, which song will be the next MX single? I'm not sure, but I would really like Hurts Like Heaven to be the next single with some colorful, cartoonish video. If not, I would like either DLIBYH, Up with the birds or Charlie Brown.

So, Every Teardrop is a bit more than a week away from getting one year old and I decided to compare MX era with Viva. And I realized things were much more interesting by 2008/9, we were getting new songs really often. We are just not getting almost nothing from MX sessions besides the album itself! Does Chris talk less during the concerts, I remember Chris used to talk a lot and making a lot of jokes during the intervals(in the Viva era before THP), but this era it seems like he's mostly just asking ''Everbody ok?'' and ''Is there anybody out there?'' ,'' I can't hear you''. Not that it's something very bad or shocking but I just notice it. and also the intervals between songs are all so short, for example, after Major Minus has ended it's like 2 seconds and LIJ/Lost! starts again. It sometimes just seems like they're in some kind of hurry. Anyone else has te same feeling?
