Mylo Xyloto (2011)

I'm a member of PRS and (as a member) you can search their online database of registered songs. I typed in Chris Martin and looked at all the newly registered work under 'Christopher Anthony John Martin' and a song called 'Mylo Xyloto' was registered on 6th July 2011!!! The writers registered for the song are all of Coldplay and Brian Eno. Wither they actually call the album Mylo Xyloto or not or that might be the lead single (maybe released on October 10th because the first letters of each word being MX).

Okay guys, it's time. Now that we know a little bit of the comics' story, I think we should try to analyze the album's lyrics once again looking for connections, much like we did once MX was out (although at that time we had no clue of what was coming whatsoever). The notes from Chris's Notebook in the Pop-Up has a lot of info. This is what I got: 1. A Hopeful Transmission was a full song with vocals and lyrics. Update: On one of the pages (I forget) it includes an entry back in 2010 with "A Hopeful Transmission" Chris Martin vocal takes. Just more proof it was a full song. 2. Car Kids and Love in a Lethal Dose were new songs on the list for Glastonbury but weren't played. 3. Car Kids was one of the last tracks cut from the album list, so it must be a great song. I didn't see a topic for this yet, so I thought I'd start one. If there was one and I missed it, apologies. I can't help but wonder however, just what the title actually means. Is it something they came up with all on their own? Is it part of a man's name, or did they pull out a foreign language again? At any rate, I have no clue what it could mean, and I'm also still wondering if "Xylobrites" has anything to do with it, and what it means. Post your speculation and educated guesses here. :)

Afternoon boys and girls. I apologise if this has been posted already, I don't get a chance to get on here much at the moment :( Anyway I've seen posts on people doing their own spray paint work. As I was considering this myself, I started looking for spray paint and found, what I think is the spray paint Coldplay use. Its called Molotow. Thought it might be helpful for anyone doing this. Hello folks! Finally made it into this neat forum :) It´s just one year ago that I found out how many B-Sides there are from the previous albums. It was a dream to find soooo many brand new songs from Coldplay after knowing all the albums for so long. But where are the B-Sides from MX? I know the name of the thread seems a bit confused and I myself can't put this on words but I don't know if someone have realized that Coldplay, Keane and Muse seem to be like in the same "Wave" or something like a point of their career where they look very secure of what they do, even changing. I mean: Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto was very different from their previous works, what doesn't mean BAD, but the opposite, it's good and it's something the band likes to do.
